EXPONOR Chile 2017 was sponsored by Antofagasta Industrial Association. With abundant mineral resources, especially copper from the Antofagasta Region, EXPONOR has become one of the largest and most professional mineral industry exhibitions of Chile. The Antofagasta Region is a major copper production area of Chile, and it is also the World’s Center of Copper. Besides, Chile is also topping the global list in the production of Molybdenum, Gold, Silver, Iron, Lithium, Iodine, Niter, Rhenium, Selenium, etc. EXPONOR is held biennially, and it has been held for 15 times so far. As statistics from the sponsoring party shows, there have been 1250 enterprises entered for the exhibition from more than 30 countries including USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, South Africa, Sweden, Mexico, Columbia, Russia, Denmark, France, Peru, Brazil and China, among which 12 countries even arranged exhibition delegations. The audience is a crowd of 40,000 people. During the exhibition, there were lots of business talks, technology seminars, symposiums, technological visitations and lectures.

During exhibition, the setup of Homsheen from Stand 261B has won over lots of visitors. It has received about 80 clients, most of which were local clients from Chile including mesh dealers, mesh manufacturers, local miners and end users of aggregate plants. Meanwhile, there are also some mine service companies and some consulting agencies.
